Course and Institution Application

We provide in-depth counselling, usually in a prospective student’s home country, to help you to select the right course at the most suitable U.K. University for your chosen career.  We use a mixture of local face to face meetings and telephone contact supplemented with e-mail communications and telephone contact with our Headquarters.  Your application(s) are tracked by us every step of the way to ensure a speedy service and to keep you informed and to provide further advice should it be necessary.

Visa Application and Counselling

We provide counselling and advice about eligibility for a student Visa.  We assist in the application process and guide you further should the Visa Office of the British Embassy express any concerns about your eligibility.

Home Country Preparation

To help you prepare for your study experience in the UK we provide briefings, seminars and access to a wealth of information.  An induction pack with details about the city in which you have chosen to study is also provided before you leave your home country.

Accommodation in the UK

We pre-arrange accommodation in your city of study before you depart for the UK.  We can organise family accommodation, shared accommodation or single accommodation depending on your request.  There is a variety of types to suit your specific needs.

Arrival in the UK

We recognise that when you arrive some things may be unfamiliar to you.  We ensure that someone will be waiting at your city of study to receive you at the airport (or train station, depending on your route to your city of study).  We take you to your chosen accommodation and ensure that you are comfortable.

Communicating with Home

When you arrive in the UK one of the first actions you may wish to undertake is to notify your family that you have arrived safely.  To aid you we provide a cell phone with user credit for you to do so free of charge.  Additionally this cell phone is yours to use whilst you are in the UK allowing you to phone home regularly.  (You will need to pay for subsequent “top up” credit after your initial allowance has been used.)

Support for Dependents

Some students relocate to their whole families to the UK whilst they are students.  Sometimes the English Language competency of a spouse may not be at the same standard as the partner student.  We arrange classes in English language for spouses so that they are more comfortable living in an English speaking environment. In addition we assist with the placing of school age dependents in suitable schools.

Employment

Many students undertake part-time employment whilst studying to provide some income to support their studies.  Should you express an interest in a part-time job we will start looking for appropriate opportunities for you before you arrive in the UK.  With our extended network and connections we can help to find something suitable for you removing this distraction from your studies.

Social Arrangements and Networking

We hold social events for new and existing overseas students which assists you in creating your own social infrastructure.  Existing overseas students especially those from your own home country can guide you about many aspects of living, studying and working in the UK.

Induction Arrangements

To assist you in finding your way around your chosen city of study we arrange a number of visits very soon after you arrive.   Within a tour of the city key locations are identified including places of worship specific to your particular religion. In addition you are taken on a visit to your College or University and you are guided through the transport arrangements to and from your accommodation.

 Health Care

You will need to register with a doctor whilst you are in the UK.  We explain the health system and guide you through the registration process for you and other family members.

Financial Arrangements

We will help you open up suitable bank accounts to allow you to undertake monetary transactions.  Should you require money transfers from your home country on a speedy and regular basis, we have an additional service to undertake this, for which there is a charge.
