Admission Direct Hosts Social Event for Existing and New Students from Libya
On the evening of 14 July 2008 at the Head Office of Admission Direct an informal social event took place. A number of existing students and new students from Libya dropped in during the course of the evening and took some refreshment and discussed a wide range of matters amongst themselves and also with the Directors of Admission Direct.
Gavin MacDonald, Vice-Principal of Stow College, a city centre college which has in depth specialisms in Science and Engineering, was also present. He was able to indicate some of the intensive "Fast Track" courses available at Stow College, including Occupational Safety provision for Fire Safety.
Both new and existing students welcomed the opportunity to mix in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. They all indicated that they thought the city of Glasgow was a good place to live and study, there being excellent facilities and infrastructural support. |
